Grants - a 'model' dealership

A SEAT owner and model car collector from North Yorkshire was recently faced with a huge challenge that nearly had him beat.

Robin Johnson, who had just purchased a spacious Ibiza ST, was more than a little disappointed to discover that he couldn't purchase the same car as a Diecast model in the UK.  As an avid model car collector he had bought a replica model of each car he has owned and the SEAT Ibiza ST was no exception.

Having contacted lots of dealers and searched the internet high and low he was almost ready to give up until we picked up his email enquiry.

We contacted Mr Johnson and he explained that collecting replica model cars was his hobby and that he had managed to collect a model car for practically every car he had bought over the last 30 years.  We could tell how important this was to him so decided to take up the challenge to find him his model car!

After contacting SEAT UK we discovered that we could bespoke order his car direct from the SEAT factory in Spain so that's exactly what we did!

Within a few weeks the car was on its way to Yorkshire from Spain and arrived to Mr Johnson's delight just before he went on holiday.

He contacted us after his holiday and said, "This is the first chance I've had to thank you, the model is brilliant and will take pride of place at the front of my collection.  Once again thanks for taking on the challenge of finding this model for me, I really appreciate the effort you went to!"
